It was able to leverage the R&D resources and Engineering expertise of its parent company, Lightel Technologies. With this assistance, Aleddra quickly established itself as a leader in LED Lighting arena. In 2019 Aleddra was ranked 30th in the world based on the number of awarded US lighting related patents. Aleddra’s Wellness Lighting products have received IES recognition in 2018, 2019 and again in 2020. PATRICK YU, PRESIDENT
Patrick has been involved with Aleddra from the beginning, founding it in 2008 while at our parent company, Lightel Technologies. Patrick has built Aleddra into what it is today, a leader in the LED technology business. Patrick also manages and directs the Aleddra manufacturing facility in China.
JOHN HSIA, PhD, VP OF ENGINEERING
John and his team are responsible for developing the electronic and optical packaging capabilities for our LED technology. John received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University and his MBA from Aspen University. John has over 30 years of engineering experience in new product development, manufacturing, quality control, product support and project management. John has filed over 30 US patents related to LED technology.
MATTHEW MAA, PhD, VP OF SALES & MARKETING
Matthew received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Graduate Degrees in MS Statistics and MS Computer Engineering from Michigan State University. He is a regular speaker for national and regional groups interested in converting their facilities to the right LED solutions. Matthew has filed over 12 US patents related to LED light engines, luminaires and lumen monitoring systems. Matthew can be seen on many of Aleddra’s YouTube product demonstrations.
