Aleddra, a Seattle-based lighting technology innovator and the maker of the best-selling Emergency LED T8, extends its lead in emergency LED lighting with the introduction of advanced products for indoor applications. The EMA series, External Emergency Pack, comes with a 90-minute battery pack and is for external installation to the LED lamps/fixtures. During power outage, it supplies from the battery full power to non-dimmable LED driver or partial power for dimmable LED driver.
The EMB series, Internal Emergency Pack, comprises a battery pack and an emergency LED driver for installation inside the LED fixture housing and in parallel to the existing LED driver. In the event of emergency, the battery supplies power through the emergency LED driver directly to the LED’s, bypassing the existing LED driver. Therefore, it doesn’t matter whether the existing LED driver is dimmable or not.
All EMA and EMB emergency packs are UL924 compliant. More importantly, they support self-testing and self-diagnosis, thus greatly reducing the manual labor for monthly and annual audit of the emergency lighting equipment.
